Community Physiotherapist - Toowoomba

About the role

A community-based team is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to provide personalised physiotherapy services to clients in their own homes across Toowoomba and surrounding areas. The role suits someone who enjoys building relationships, working independently and helping clients maintain their mobility, independence and quality of life. It is a permanent full-time position with flexible working hours.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied community caseload, mostly with older clients in their own homes
• Deliver about two-thirds exercise prescription and rehabilitation, and one-third hands-on treatment and manual therapy
• Cover different areas across the Toowoomba region each week
• Manage your own diary, caseload and workload, structuring your hours around your preferences and client availability

Required profile

• Confident working with older clients, particularly in a community setting
• Ability to independently manage your diary, caseload and workload
• Self-motivated, organised and comfortable working autonomously

Required skills

• Strong exercise prescription and rehabilitation skills
• Good hands-on treatment skills, including massage and treatment of common musculoskeletal conditions affecting the shoulders, back and neck

What we offer

• Salary of $90,000-$105,000 plus superannuation, depending on experience
