Community Aged Carer

About the role

You will provide essential and practical care to older people in their homes across the North Shore area, helping them live independently and improve their quality of life. Travel between client homes is reimbursed at $0.99 per kilometre plus paid travel time.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as showering and dressing.
• Assist with household tasks including meal preparation and light cleaning.
• Transport clients to appointments and help with shopping.
• Support medication management.

Required profile

• Compassionate, reliable and patient.
• Valid driver’s licence and own insured vehicle (minimum third‑party property insurance).
• Female applicants only, as the role is a genuine occupational qualification.
• Either existing experience in aged or community care or a willingness to start a career in this field.
