About the role
MECCA’s Communications team is looking for a Communications Specialist to shape internal and customer‑facing messaging for the Customer Care division. Reporting to the Head of Communications, you will help align frontline teams and ensure clear, consistent communication across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Manage internal communications for Customer Care using newsletters, Microsoft Teams, town halls, EDMs and leadership updates.
- Develop customer‑facing templates, key messaging, knowledge‑base articles and escalation responses.
- Partner with Customer Care stakeholders to convey operational updates, campaigns and business changes.
- Support crisis and issue management by identifying reputational risks and contributing to proactive communication plans.
- Coordinate internal engagement initiatives, events and projects for both office‑based and remote teams.
Required profile
- Proactive, adaptable communicator thriving in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong stakeholder‑management abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience in internal or customer communications, preferably within retail or customer‑care settings.
- Ability to recognise reputational and operational risks and communicate sensitively.
