Commercial Manager – Transportation & Logistics

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to build and lead the commercial function of a fast‑growing Western Australian transport and logistics group. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape commercial strategy, drive revenue growth and strengthen key customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead business development and identify new commercial opportunities across existing and emerging markets.
• Manage major customer and supplier relationships, including tender preparation, pricing and contract negotiations.
• Develop commercial models, pricing frameworks and oversee contract management and risk mitigation.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to support strategic planning and growth initiatives.
• Provide commercial reporting, forecasting and performance insights to executive leadership.
• Build and mentor a high‑performing commercial team.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in commercial management, business development, contracts or strategic growth roles.
• Proven track record of winning and retaining major contracts, preferably in transport, logistics, mining or industrial services.
• Strong commercial negotiation, relationship management and strategic thinking abilities.
• High integrity, accountability and a collaborative mindset suited to a family‑owned business culture.
