Commercial Manager – Airports

About the role

Qantas is seeking a Commercial Manager – Airports to lead commercial strategy and negotiations with Australian airports. You will work closely with internal business units and external airport partners to deliver value‑creating outcomes for the Group.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute commercial outcomes with Australian airports on behalf of the Qantas Group.
• Liaise with business units to capture feedback and align airport strategies.
• Develop long‑term Group airport strategies and ensure they are applied to individual airports.
• Manage commercial activities from inception through negotiation to contract execution.
• Lead client relationships for regional, medium, and major airports, handling complex negotiations.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to meet strategic commercial objectives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of stakeholder management, procurement or negotiation experience.
• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Business Management or a related field.
• Advanced influencing, communication and negotiation capabilities.
• Proven ability to build effective relationships with diverse groups.
• Experience leading complex negotiations on regional ports and contributing to Tier 1 and Tier 2 airport deals.
