Commercial Loan Writer

About the role

A newly created role for an experienced commercial loan writer to work directly with Green Finance Group founder and director, Daniel Green. The team shares responsibility for processing more than $300 million in settled commercial property lending each year and plays a key part in managing, retaining and growing an established commercial loan portfolio. All leads are provided, so no business development is required; the position is based in the James Street precinct of Brisbane and starts immediately.

Key responsibilities

• Support the head broker across multiple active client files
• Manage commercial loan applications from assessment through to settlement
• Prepare compliant applications across a broad lender panel
• Navigate complex lending scenarios confidently
• Liaise with clients, lenders, agents, conveyancers and valuers
• Negotiate with banks and lender business development managers
• Drive process improvements and workflow efficiencies

Required profile

• 5+ years of commercial lending experience in banking or brokerage
• Strong credit, policy and compliance knowledge
• Comfortable managing a high-volume, often complex pipeline
• Certificate IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking (required)
• Diploma of Mortgage Broking & Finance (preferred)
