Commercial Finance Manager, On Premise & DTC

About the role

Reporting to the Commercial Finance Director, East, this Sydney‑based role supports the performance and growth of Vinarchy’s On Premise and Direct‑to‑Consumer businesses. You will provide commercial insight, financial leadership and performance management across a diverse portfolio, partnering closely with Sales and Marketing leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to drive commercial performance, profitability and informed decision‑making across On Premise and DTC channels.
• Lead forecasting, budgeting, S&OP and long‑range planning activities, ensuring clear visibility of risks, opportunities and performance outcomes.
• Provide commercial analysis and recommendations on pricing, promotional investment, tenders, customer agreements and new business opportunities.
• Own monthly performance reporting, financial insights and stakeholder communications to help leaders understand key drivers.
• Coach and develop the Senior Commercial Analyst, fostering capability and engagement within the team.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualified with tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial finance or business partnering within FMCG, retail, liquor or a similarly dynamic environment.
• Proven track record of supporting strategic decision‑making, leading planning and forecasting processes, and partnering effectively with non‑finance stakeholders.
• Strong analytical capability and collaborative approach to translate financial data into practical insights.
