Commercial / Corporate Lawyer – Office General Counsel

About the role

KPMG’s Office of General Counsel is seeking a Commercial/Corporate Lawyer to join its team. You will support a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, providing legal expertise that underpins the firm’s client and internal services.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate general contracts and commercial agreements.
• Review new product and service offerings for legal compliance.
• Provide legal advice on tender documents and client service proposals.
• Liaise closely with business units and external counsel to manage regulatory and litigation issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience negotiating general commercial contracts.
• Exposure to corporate law matters is desirable.
• Strong drafting and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience building relationships across all organisational levels.
• Proactive, commercial approach to problem‑solving.
• Admitted lawyer holding a current practising certificate.
