Cold Stores Export Supervisor (PM Shift)

About the role

JBS Australia's Southern Division, headquartered in Melbourne, operates the largest multi-species processing facility in Australia, handling beef, sheep and goats, with access to major international markets. It is seeking a driven and experienced Cold Stores Export Supervisor (PM shift) for its Brooklyn plant. Reporting to the Cold Stores Manager, the role leads and supervises export operations, coordinating product from inventory through to dispatch and helping deliver operational targets while maintaining compliance with export requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Cold Stores and dispatch team members on shift to achieve productivity, safety and quality outcomes
• Manage and coordinate export dispatch from order planning through to shipment from cold storage
• Ensure products are available, compliant and fit for loading before dispatch
• Coordinate export orders by product availability, operational priorities and shipment schedules
• Liaise with production, operations, inventory teams and external logistics providers for on-time delivery
• Ensure compliance with export and regulatory requirements such as EU, Halal, BSE and customer-specific standards
• Maintain food safety, quality assurance and cold chain standards
• Manage inventory accuracy, system transactions and export documentation for full traceability
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives

Required profile

• Proven experience in export operations, logistics or cold storage environments
• Leadership experience supervising teams in a fast-paced setting
• Solid understanding of export compliance and regulatory requirements
• Relevant qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business (highly regarded)
