About the role
A leading kitchen and benchtop manufacturer in Campbellfield, Melbourne, is hiring a CNC operator to run CNC machinery that produces premium natural stone, porcelain and sintered stone benchtops for major builders. The position is full time.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machinery for stone benchtop production
- Cut, profile and finish edges to specification
- Machine sink, hotplate and tap-hole cut-outs
- Load cutting files and select tooling for each material
- Read and interpret drawings and cutting lists
- Quality-check finished pieces before they move on
- Follow silica-safety and OH&S procedures
Required profile
- Proven CNC operating experience in stone
- Natural stone, porcelain and sintered stone experience
- Strong attention to detail
Required skills
- Confident with cutting, profiling and cut-outs
- Able to read drawings and cutting lists
