Cloud Security Consultant

About the role

CyberCX is looking for a Cloud Security Consultant to join its Cloud Security & Solutions practice. Reporting to the Director of Cloud Security & Solutions, you will deliver high‑quality cloud security services that meet both CyberCX standards and customer needs.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to deliver cloud security services in line with project scope and standards.
• Lead standard client engagements or support complex ones, handling planning, governance, risk and delivery requirements.
• Prepare and present high‑quality deliverables, including findings and recommendation reports tailored to customer requirements.
• Support internal innovation, capability building and process improvements.
• Build and foster strong customer relationships, contributing to sales support and marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor‑level qualification in cybersecurity, forensics or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing diverse information/cybersecurity projects.
• Australian citizenship and ability to obtain an Australian Security Clearance.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication capabilities.
• Analytical and problem‑solving expertise with a proactive, agile approach.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with cloud technologies and a general understanding of cloud security principles.
• Working towards or holding major security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA or ISO LA/LI.
• Cloud security certifications or cloud vendor certifications (preferred).
