Cloud Infrastructure & Security Engineer

About the role

A growing Managed Service Provider in Melbourne's South-East is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure & Security Engineer for a permanent position starting as soon as possible. The company describes a collaborative and supportive team, exposure to leading technologies and ongoing career development.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and support Microsoft 365, Azure and hybrid infrastructure solutions.
• Deliver infrastructure, cloud, security and modern workplace projects.
• Configure and troubleshoot network and security infrastructure.
• Assist with cybersecurity initiatives, vulnerability remediation and security best practices.
• Act as an escalation point for level 1 and 2 engineers.

Required profile

• Proven experience working in a Managed Service Provider.
• Tertiary education in Information Technology is beneficial.
• A current driver's licence and vehicle.

Required skills

• Sound knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Windows Server, Intune, Microsoft Defender and networking.
• Experience with NinjaOne RMM and ConnectWise PSA is advantageous.
• Highly developed troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Certifications in Azure, Microsoft, Fortinet, Juniper, VMware and CompTIA Security+ are beneficial.
