Clinical Support Specialist – Wound Care

About the role

Solventum is seeking a Clinical Support Specialist to lead wound‑care education and support across hospitals and health services in New South Wales. The role focuses on Negative Pressure Wound Therapy and acute wound care, combining clinical expertise with customer engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert in wound care, delivering product application and clinical evidence training to customers throughout NSW.
• Conduct product demonstrations, hospital in‑service programs, and speaker engagements.
• Develop tailored training content using globally approved materials adapted to local needs.
• Build and maintain a network of product champions, key opinion leaders and clinical influencers.
• Participate in industry events and conferences to stay current with wound‑care trends and translate insights into clinical strategies.
• Provide clinical advisory support to customers and internal sales teams, protecting existing business and identifying growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Territory Managers on joint customer visits and presentations to ensure consistent, evidence‑based messaging.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Relevant experience in wound care, surgical nursing, operating theatre or the medical‑device industry.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a passion for supporting clinical best practice.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships with clinicians.
• Adaptable, self‑motivated and comfortable working in dynamic hospital environments.
