Clinical Skills Lead – Pharmacy Graduate Certificate

About the role

The University of Adelaide is seeking a Clinical Skills Lead to drive the delivery of its Graduate Certificate in Pharmacy Prescribing. In this part‑time position you will equip future prescribing pharmacists with the clinical reasoning, communication and examination skills required for safe, high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver clinical skills teaching sessions, including simulation‑based learning activities.
• Lead assessment processes and ensure alignment with accreditation standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary faculty to integrate pharmacy prescribing content across the curriculum.
• Mentor and support learners to develop confidence in patient assessment and prescribing.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the Graduate Certificate program.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS, MD or equivalent) with extensive clinical experience.
• Proven track record in health‑care education and practical skills training.
• Strong communication, organisational and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to advancing pharmacist prescribing practice.

Required skills

• Experience with online learning management systems.
