About the role

Join a forward‑looking Pharmacy Department at one of Australia’s leading health services. As a Clinical Pharmacist you will deliver high‑quality, patient‑centred pharmacy services across a range of clinical specialties, working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe, high‑quality clinical pharmacy services in line with SHPA guidelines, legislation and organisational policies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary ward rounds, clinical meetings, discharge planning and continuity of care for both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Optimise medication safety through medication review, reconciliation, patient counselling and education.
• Support medicines distribution, including dispensing, stock control, controlled drug management and sterile production assistance.
• Engage in quality improvement, audit and risk‑management activities to enhance medication systems.
• Supervise and train students, interns and junior staff while maintaining professional development.
• Contribute to research, service development and evidence‑based practice through audits, projects or publications.

Required profile

• Registered pharmacist with AHPRA.
• Experience delivering clinical pharmacy services.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Post‑graduate qualification desirable.
• Completion of or progress towards a pharmacy residency or demonstrated competence in hospital pharmacy rotations.
• Enthusiasm for continuous learning and skill development.
