Clinical Nurse – ICU (Part‑time, Permanent)

About the role

Join St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital as a Clinical Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit. This permanent part‑time role (72 hours per fortnight) offers the chance to deliver high‑quality patient care within a leading Queensland health‑care facility.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, evidence‑based nursing care to ICU patients.
• Assess, monitor and respond promptly to clinical changes.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff and multidisciplinary team members.
• Coordinate and prioritize the clinical workload of the ward.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years post‑graduate Registered Nursing experience in ICU.
• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent with AHPRA registration.
• Critical Care Certificate (or working towards one) is desirable.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentorship and decision‑making abilities.
• Willingness to meet hospital vaccination requirements and undergo background checks.

• Hourly rate $55.63–$59.61 plus 12% superannuation.
