Clinical Nurse – Community Health (Geraldton)

About the role

The Community Health team in Geraldton is seeking a motivated Clinical Nurse to deliver primary health services across the region. This full‑time position works within a vibrant coastal community, supporting health promotion, immunisation, school health and child health programs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical services as part of core community health programs, including immunisation and school health.
• Deliver quality primary health care to individuals and families, meeting planned health outcomes.
• Develop, implement and evaluate primary health initiatives and health promotion activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and work independently when required.

Required profile

• Eligibility for registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Demonstrated knowledge of health promotion principles and ability to apply them in practice.
• Experience in developing, implementing and evaluating primary health programs.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Current C or C‑A class driver’s licence (or equivalent).
• Post‑graduate qualification in Child and Adolescent health is an advantage.
