Clinical Manager - Residential Aged Care

About the role

St Vincent's Health Australia is recruiting a Clinical Manager for its residential aged care home in Eltham, Victoria. Reporting to the Residential Care Services Manager, you will lead nursing and care staff, foster a safe and supportive workplace and ensure residents receive exceptional, person-centred care. The role covers 63 residents at the Willandra facility within the Eltham & Willandra site.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee safe, high-quality, evidence-based, person-centred clinical care, including dementia care, behaviour support, medication safety and infection control
• Strengthen clinical governance, quality assurance, risk management and regulatory compliance under the Aged Care Act 2024 and the Aged Care Quality Standards
• Monitor clinical performance, resident outcomes, incidents and quality indicators to drive sustainable improvements
• Coach, mentor and support nursing and care teams, and build relationships with residents, families, representatives and healthcare professionals

Required profile

• AHPRA-registered nurse
• Demonstrated clinical leadership or management experience in residential aged care, ideally at least three years in a comparable role
• Strong understanding of the Aged Care Act 2024 and the Aged Care Quality Standards
• Alignment with St Vincent's values of Compassion, Justice, Integrity and Excellence

• Digital literacy in electronic clinical systems
