Client Services Team Member - MVSC Glen Waverley

About the role

Melbourne Veterinary Specialist Centre (MVSC) is a multi-disciplinary specialist hospital supporting referring veterinarians across Melbourne and regional Victoria. It is looking for a full-time Client Services Team Member to join its reception team at the Glen Waverley hospital. This is a busy, rewarding role where you will be among the first people clients, referring veterinarians and visitors meet.

The role is based primarily at Glen Waverley, with fortnightly shifts at the Essendon Fields clinic and a rotating Saturday roster.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome clients and visitors
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Manage a busy phone system
• Schedule appointments
• Email clients and referring clinics
• Maintain accurate records
• Process payments
• Handle general reception and administrative duties

Required profile

• Previous reception, administration or customer service experience
• Veterinary or healthcare experience highly regarded
• Compassionate and professional approach to clients
• Able to work across both locations and available for occasional Saturday shifts
• Positive, team-focused attitude

Required skills

• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Confident using computer systems
