Client Partner

About the role

Aquent is recruiting a Client Partner for a rapidly growing strategy and creative consultancy based in Sydney. The role goes beyond traditional account management: it connects people and projects so that visionary ideas are turned into actionable plans and executed carefully across key initiatives. It is a temporary, full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Manage several projects, their timelines and the diverse stakeholders involved, keeping things clear and ordered.
• Work closely with clients to identify their needs and turn them into precise, actionable project briefs.
• Coordinate creative teams, production schedules, external suppliers and other partners to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Keep projects moving and protect the details, quality and progress.
• Take part in key initiatives such as annual reports, high-profile events and important stakeholder communications.
• Support projects with senior and high-level stakeholders, building trust and understanding.
• Proofread and review content to ensure accuracy and consistency across all deliverables.
• Gather insights from internal teams across the client's business and provide support for other client engagements as needed.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced agency or similar dynamic environment.
• Ability to manage timelines, budgets, supplier relationships and competing priorities.
• Natural relationship builder, comfortable with people at all levels, including senior stakeholders.
• Proactive, curious about business operations and hands-on in project execution.
• Sound judgment, able to work autonomously and make informed decisions.
