Client Partner, Commercial

About the role

The Client Partner owns the end‑to‑end relationship with assigned accounts, from onboarding through adoption, health monitoring, renewal and growth. Success is measured by net revenue retention and the ability to turn the installed base into a growth engine.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the trusted commercial point of contact for the executive sponsor and buying group throughout the account lifecycle.
• Drive net revenue retention by protecting the base through adoption and value realization and expanding it via structured cross‑sell and upsell motions.
• Lead the growth motion in Quarterly Business Reviews, map whitespace across Advisory and MSP services, and turn account plans into low‑friction expansion opportunities.
• Apply MEDDPICC qualification to every large pursuit, eliminating weak deals early.
• Manage the renewal calendar, surface risk early and negotiate multi‑year continuations.
• Build relationships with strategic vendors and technology partners to unlock co‑sell, funding programs and customer events.
• Coordinate service, delivery and product teams to ensure a seamless client experience and maintain delivery health.
• Increase product attach per logo over the life of the account.
• Maintain accurate activity, opportunity and forecast data in the system of record.

Required profile

• Proven track record of account ownership with measurable retention and expansion results.
• Deep executive‑level relationships and trusted‑advisor credibility.
• Strong commercial acumen to build expansion cases and negotiate renewals.
• Ability to orchestrate across delivery, service and product functions.
• Comfortable applying disciplined qualification frameworks to expansion opportunities.
• Behavioural style of a Trusted Challenger – teaches executives a sharper view, tailors cases across buying groups and drives the commercial agenda.
