Client-Facing Accountant – Brisbane

About the role

Clear Tax is looking for an ambitious client-facing accountant in Brisbane who enjoys working with people, solving problems and helping businesses make smarter financial decisions. You will work closely with clients to understand their business goals and guide them toward suitable financial and business structures, including Trusts and Companies, while collaborating with experienced accountants, tax professionals and financial advisers.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with clients and understand their accounting and business needs
• Assist clients with business structures, taxation and financial planning guidance
• Support senior team members with accounting and advisory tasks
• Contribute to client relationship management and ongoing support
• Stay up to date with taxation and compliance requirements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is mandatory
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and taxation
• Exposure to Trusts, Companies or SMSFs is an advantage
• Candidates pursuing or planning to pursue CA, CPA, IPA or a Master's in Accounting are encouraged to apply
• Experience in public practice accounting is preferred
• Ability to explain financial concepts simply and practically, and to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
