Claims Case Manager

About the role

Join Marsh's Plan Administration team as a Claims Case Manager, working in a hybrid model from one of our major Australian cities. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers and stakeholders, managing complex claims for deceased estates, total and permanent disablement, permanent incapacity, and terminal illness.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise directly with customers, executors, beneficiaries, solicitors, advisers, insurers, and the Trustee.
• Take ownership of customer requests, following them through to resolution.
• Record and monitor case details using the Case Management workflow system.
• Collate and review all correspondence to build a complete case picture.
• Prepare recommendations for the Trustee, ensuring compliance with product rules and regulatory policies.

Required profile

• Previous claims experience, preferably in life, death, or TPD.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage each case with extreme sensitivity.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of superannuation legislation is desirable.
