Civil Supervisor Night Shift

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to lead night‑shift activities on a critical Defence infrastructure project in Australia. You will oversee civil and structural works, ensuring safety, quality and compliance with strict Defence standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise civil and structural construction activities in line with program, safety, quality and environmental requirements.
• Coordinate subcontractors, plant and material deliveries to maintain efficient site operations.
• Conduct site inspections, maintain daily reports and records, and ensure compliance with Defence specifications.
• Act as a safety ambassador, promoting a strong safety culture and full health‑and‑safety compliance.
• Monitor progress, assist with planning and sequencing, and track site activities and costs against the approved budget.
• Contribute to risk management, issue resolution and continuous improvement on site.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a supervisory role on civil and structural infrastructure or building projects.
• Strong understanding of site‑based construction delivery, quality and safety systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Team‑focused mindset with the ability to drive performance on site.
• Australian citizenship and eligibility for Baseline Security Clearance.
