Civil Supervisor - Night Shift (Defence Infrastructure)

About the role

ACCIONA is looking for a Shift Supervisor with a civil background in drainage, excavation, pavements, FRP and concrete to support the delivery of critical Defence infrastructure in Adelaide. The project strengthens Australia's Defence capability and operates in a highly regulated environment with strict quality, safety and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise civil and structural construction activities in line with program, safety, quality and environmental requirements.
• Coordinate subcontractors, plant and materials to ensure efficient site operations.
• Conduct site inspections and maintain daily reporting and records.
• Ensure compliance with Defence standards, specifications and quality systems.
• Act as a safety ambassador on site, promoting a strong safety culture and full compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Monitor progress and assist with planning and sequencing of works.
• Track site activities and costs, keeping works within the approved budget and flagging variances.
• Contribute to risk management, issue resolution and continuous improvement on site.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Supervisor on civil and structural scopes for infrastructure or building projects.
• Strong understanding of site-based construction delivery, quality and safety systems.
• Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain Baseline Security Clearance, due to Defence security requirements.
