Civil Site Supervisor

About the role

A well-established civil contractor delivering major Queensland infrastructure is looking for a Site Supervisor to run one site at a time and own everything that happens on it: the crew, the plant, the weekly program and the quality delivered. The client builds roads, subdivisions, service stations and community infrastructure across Queensland.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and run daily works: crew, plant, materials and set-out
• Run prestarts and toolbox talks, and keep safety systems current
• Manage quality on site: ITPs, hold points and conformance
• Coordinate subcontractors such as traffic control, kerbing, asphalt and fencing
• Keep paperwork straight: diaries, plant hours, dockets and variations

Required profile

• Current Queensland driver's licence and Construction White Card
• Solid supervisory experience on civil sites with a contractor
• Subdivision experience: earthworks, drainage, kerb and channel, roadworks
• TMR project experience: MRTS specifications, ITPs and lot conformance
• Genuine safety leadership and hands-on plant capability when needed
• Highly regarded: HR licence, machine tickets, first aid or traffic control awareness; trade background such as plant operator, pipelayer or roadworks; service station construction (tank pits, footings, forecourt slabs); remote, island or wet-season project experience

What we offer

• Salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year plus superannuation, negotiable based on experience
