Civil Engineer – Renewable Energy & Utilities Projects

About the role

CPP is expanding its civil design engineering capability and is looking for a Civil Engineer to join its national in‑house design team in Adelaide. You will work on high‑voltage substations, battery storage facilities and renewable energy projects, contributing to Australia’s transition to sustainable power.

Key responsibilities

• Develop civil engineering designs from client brief through concept and Issued‑for‑Construction stages.
• Produce detailed designs for stormwater drainage, bulk earthworks, pavements and access roads.
• Collaborate with senior and principal engineers, project managers and construction teams to ensure designs are practical, constructible and compliant.
• Support the delivery of safe, reliable civil solutions for nationally significant renewable energy infrastructure.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Professional engineering registration (or working towards it) is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate client requirements into detailed designs.
• Experience working on infrastructure or utility projects is advantageous.
