Civil Designer

About the role

Aurecon is seeking a Civil Designer to join its multidisciplinary teams in Adelaide. You will work closely with engineers and designers to produce high‑quality civil design documentation and models for a variety of infrastructure and building projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare civil models, drawings and design documentation using AutoCAD, 12d and Civil 3D.
• Support delivery of Buildings Civil Defence projects across South Australia and nationally.
• Collaborate with structural, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and architectural disciplines.
• Assist in the development and coordination of design solutions throughout all project phases.
• Participate in BIM and model coordination activities.
• Contribute to quality assurance and design review processes.
• Provide accurate and timely documentation to aid project delivery.
• Continue developing technical capability under senior guidance.

Required profile

• 5+ years’ experience in civil drafting, modelling or design within an engineering consultancy, contractor or infrastructure environment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, 12d and/or Civil 3D.
• Experience delivering civil design documentation for buildings, land development or infrastructure projects.
• Exposure to multidisciplinary project environments and coordination with other design disciplines.
• Experience working with BIM teams or participating in BIM coordination activities is highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality technical documentation.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
