Civil Construction Superintendent for Renewable Energy Project

About the role

DT Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Civil Superintendent to lead day‑to‑day civil construction on the Majors Creek renewable energy project near Townsville. Reporting to the Area Manager – Civil, you will manage supervisors, crews and subcontractors to deliver safe, high‑quality work on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily civil construction activities, overseeing supervisors, site crews and subcontractors to meet safety, quality, programme and productivity targets.
• Plan and schedule construction work, allocate resources, and coordinate plant, labour, materials and subcontractors.
• Manage civil works including site preparation, earthworks and infrastructure for solar installations and tracker systems.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and progress, identify risks and resolve delivery challenges.
• Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to supervisors and construction teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years construction experience with at least 5 years in construction management, preferably in utility‑scale renewable energy or solar farms.
• Proven ability to lead large civil construction teams and manage multiple supervisors and subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, planning, scheduling, resource management and cost control.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
