Civil Construction Manager

About the role

A Queensland civil construction contractor with a full pipeline of work is hiring a Construction Manager in Upper Mount Gravatt. The role carries a portfolio of concurrent civil projects, including subdivisions, TMR roadworks and service station builds, from tender handover to off maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Own the programme, budget and forecast across the project portfolio
• Resource plant, crews and subcontractors across competing sites
• Manage client and Superintendent relationships
• Administer variations, EOTs, progress claims and notices
• Lead supervisors and engineers and own safety, quality and environmental performance

Required profile

• Substantial civil delivery experience running multiple projects at once
• Subdivision delivery: earthworks, drainage, roadworks, services and handover
• TMR experience: MRTS specs, ITPs, lot conformance and contract administration
• Commercial control: able to read a cost report and explain the margin
• Current QLD licence and Construction White Card, with willingness to travel
