Civil Construction Manager

About the role

Freyssinet Australia – VINCI Group is looking for a Civil Construction Manager to lead a portfolio of concurrent civil infrastructure projects valued between $5M and $30M. Reporting to the National Civil Manager, you will ensure safe, on‑time, profitable delivery while providing technical expertise across multiple teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support Project Managers, Engineers, and site teams across multiple projects.
• Drive performance in safety, programme, quality, and commercial outcomes.
• Manage and optimise labour resourcing across projects.
• Oversee planning to ensure projects are effectively set up and delivered on schedule.
• Contribute to monthly performance reporting and forecasting.
• Lead contract administration, risk, and opportunity management activities.
• Support procurement and subcontractor engagement strategies.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Ensure adherence to Freyssinet and VINCI systems, processes, and safety standards.
• Collaborate on Industrial Relations matters where required.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering civil infrastructure projects, preferably including bridge construction or strengthening.
• Demonstrated delivery experience on projects in the $5M‑$30M range.
• Ability to lead and influence multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong commercial, financial, and reporting capability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
