About the role
Minetek is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to provide overall leadership and oversight of day‑to‑day operations. The COO will translate strategic vision into efficient, repeatable processes that support growth, enhance capability, and drive performance while maintaining stability, quality, and risk discipline.
Key responsibilities
- Lead company operations, including strategic planning, project delivery, financial performance, production, and supply chain.
- Develop and optimise systems, workflows, and reporting to improve margins and decision‑making.
- Drive organisational productivity, accountability, and a high‑performance culture.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align strategic outcomes.
- Design organisational structures and processes that support scalable growth.
- Apply commercial and risk‑management perspectives in a regulated environment.
- Empower employees, champion continuous improvement, and ensure resilience during growth phases.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to departmental leaders, fostering their professional development.
Required profile
- Qualifications in business administration, operations, or a related field.
- Extensive senior management experience, preferably in an operational leadership role.
- Proven track record of delivering operational excellence and driving growth.
- Strong commercial acumen and risk‑management expertise.
- Ability to influence cross‑functional teams and communicate strategic direction clearly.
