Chef - Morrison Hotel

About the role

Endeavour Group is looking for a passionate Chef to join the kitchen team at Morrison Hotel in Woolloongabba, Queensland. The hotel is part of ALH, which owns and operates more than 350 Australian pubs and hotels. The role is casual and focuses on delivering high-quality, well-presented dishes that delight guests.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes that impress guests
• Contribute positively to a culture centred on safety and hygiene, with the guest experience at the heart of everything
• Maintain a consistent standard of high-quality, well-presented dishes that meet the ALH standard

Required profile

• Great experience in a fast-paced kitchen and the necessary trade cooking qualifications
• Understanding that a great guest experience combines passion, precision and productivity
• Strong organisation and communication skills
• Ability to handle physical work safely and efficiently, such as moving stock, kegs and deliveries
• Grill experience, as the venue is a steakhouse
