Chef – In‑flight Catering

About the role

Join dnata catering & retail in Adelaide as a full‑time Chef, preparing high‑quality meals for leading 5‑star airlines. You will work in a fast‑paced commercial kitchen delivering consistent, award‑winning inflight dining experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of bulk hot and cold dishes according to menu specifications, maintaining portion control and minimizing waste.
• Use advanced knife skills and food preparation equipment efficiently while conducting quality checks and upholding HACCP, food safety and hygiene policies.
• Coordinate with catering staff and other team members to meet production schedules.
• Perform basic computer tasks for administrative purposes.

Required profile

• Full working rights in Australia and ability to pass pre‑employment checks (National Police Check and medical assessment).
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or higher) with at least 2 years of chef experience.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced kitchen, stand for extended periods and be available for shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Food hygiene and HACCP knowledge (desirable).

Required skills
