Chef De Partie – Luxury Airport Lounge

About the role

Join the Sydney International Lounges team as a Chef De Partie, delivering high‑quality à la carte and buffet service for Qantas first‑class passengers and top‑tier frequent flyers. You will work in a luxury airport environment, supporting the Executive Chef and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Chef with food preparation, ordering, and team development to meet lounge standards.
• Maintain strict stock rotation, implement stock control procedures, and minimise waste.
• Coordinate and mentor apprentices in food preparation and production.
• Prepare and present menu items for buffet, à la carte, and tray service with flair, adhering to budget controls.
• Ensure food safety standards throughout delivery, storage, preparation, cooking, service and rotation.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar kitchen role and relevant trade qualifications.
• Confident, outgoing personality with excellent personal presentation.
• Full working rights in Australia.
