About the role

Join Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach as a Chef de Partie and help bring the groundbreaking “7 Paintings” multi‑sensory dining experience to life. You will work in a fast‑paced, artistic kitchen that blends visual art, storytelling and innovative cuisine.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and execute dishes that evoke emotion and support the immersive “7 Paintings” concept.
• Maintain exceptional quality and consistency in a live, experiential service environment.
• Collaborate closely with the culinary team to ensure seamless integration of art and food.

Required profile

• Previous experience in high‑volume banquet service.
• Formal culinary qualification (Cert III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent).
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and event‑based periods.

Required skills

• Food safety and HACCP compliance.
• High‑volume kitchen operations.
• Fine‑dining or degustation experience (highly regarded).
