Chartered Residential Surveyor

About the role

We are seeking a Chartered Residential Surveyor to join a well‑established, independent firm of chartered surveyors with a strong heritage in the Scottish property market. The role offers autonomy, a collaborative culture and the chance to work across a network of offices throughout Scotland.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver residential valuation and survey services in line with RICS standards.
• Undertake property inspections and produce home reports, mortgage valuations and private surveys.
• Manage your own workload and diary to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality reports.
• Provide expert advice to clients on property condition, risks and market value.

Required profile

• MRICS or FRICS qualified (Residential pathway preferred).
• Proven experience carrying out residential surveys and valuations.
• Strong knowledge of the Scottish residential property market.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self‑motivated with strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.
