Cellar Door Team Member

About the role

Rowlee Wines, a family wine estate in Nashdale in the Orange wine region, is looking for a Cellar Door Team Member to host tastings and look after guests as part of a small, close team. The role suits someone who enjoys wine and people.

Key responsibilities

• Host wine tastings and present the Rowlee range confidently
• Recommend wines suited to each guest
• Introduce guests to the Wine Club through personal service
• Process sales and memberships accurately
• Keep the cellar door presented to a high standard
• Work alongside the restaurant, events and vineyard teams
• Support special events and member experiences
• Maintain RSA standards

Required profile

• Current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
• Experience in hospitality, a winery, tourism or customer service; previous cellar door or winery experience is highly regarded
• Strong communication, professional presentation and attention to detail
• Available for weekends and public holidays
• Current First Aid certificate

Required skills

• Confident with point-of-sale systems
• Wine qualifications such as WSET and knowledge of the Orange region's cool climate wines are highly regarded
• Experience with Commerce7 is highly regarded
