About the role
Join Sodexo as a Catering Assistant in Ballarat, supporting daily food preparation and service. This part‑time role offers consistent hours, with the possibility of working up to 38 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including basic meal and sandwich making.
- Support kitchen and front‑of‑house operations, maintaining cleanliness and food‑safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver quality service.
Required profile
- Previous hospitality, catering or food‑service experience.
- Reliable, organised and able to work at pace.
- Australian citizenship or full working rights (WHV not accepted).
- Availability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, including Saturdays and Sundays (6:30 am‑2:30 pm) and weekday shifts (generally 6:00 am‑3:00 pm).
Required skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Basic meal preparation skills.
