Category Manager – Property Projects

About the role

The Procurement Lead will drive procurement activity for major commercial property projects across ANZ, developing and executing strategies to deliver commercial value while managing risk, budget and timeline requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Optimise project spend by delivering pipeline, developing strategy and executing procurement plans.
• Partner with the Group General Manager – Property and Project Directors to meet budget and timeline targets.
• Develop procurement plans that integrate business and corporate strategy, supported by digital enablers and category intelligence.
• Define buying channels, ensure contract and budget compliance, and drive down total cost of goods and services.
• Identify and manage procurement risks, staying abreast of regulatory, industry and supplier trends.

Required profile

• Experience in a Project Procurement leadership role supporting large construction projects.
• Strong supplier relationship management with internal and external executive stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Strategic thinking with ability to align category and project strategy to business objectives.
