Category Manager – Procurement

About the role

Vinarchy is building a high‑performing procurement function and seeks a commercially minded Category Manager to own key indirect spend categories. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, lead strategic sourcing initiatives and deliver measurable commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies across indirect spend categories such as IT, professional services and corporate services.
• Lead end‑to‑end sourcing and tender processes, from market engagement through to contract award.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and deliver value through improved supplier arrangements.
• Identify cost‑saving and value‑creation opportunities through spend analysis and market intelligence.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and influence business decisions.
• Drive procurement compliance, governance and best practice across the business.

Required profile

• Experience in procurement, strategic sourcing or category management.
• Strong sourcing, tendering and negotiation capability.
• Proven ability to develop and manage supplier and commercial relationships.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Strong analytical capability with a data‑driven approach.
