About the role

Cater Care, an Australian-owned contract catering provider with 25 years of experience serving Aged Care, Education, Retail and Remote Services, is looking for a casual Production Chef in Arndell Park, NSW. You will prepare and produce high-quality, nutritious meals in a busy catering environment, ensuring they are safe, suitable for each person's needs and ready on time.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to menus, recipes and dietary requirements
• Produce Texture Modified Meals to the required standards, keeping texture, portion size, quality and presentation consistent
• Follow food safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures
• Work efficiently in a busy production kitchen and keep it clean, safe and organised
• Collaborate with the wider kitchen team so meals are prepared and delivered on time

Required profile

• Qualified or experienced chef who takes pride in their work and enjoys teamwork
• Previous commercial kitchen experience
• Relevant Chef/Cookery qualification
• Practical knowledge of Texture Modified Food and understanding of special dietary requirements
• Experience in aged care, healthcare or contract catering is highly regarded

• Attention to detail, organisation and time management
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
