Casual Optical Assistant – Cockburn

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Casual Optical Assistants to join our new Cockburn store opening in early November 2026. At Bailey Nelson we aim to change how people see the world and how the world sees them, fostering genuine connections with customers. In this customer‑focused role you will help shoppers find the perfect frames, support their eyecare needs and ensure every visit is memorable.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting frames that suit their style and prescription.
• Provide basic eyecare support and answer product‑related questions.
• Maintain a welcoming store environment and ensure a smooth checkout experience.

Required profile

• Customer‑first mindset with retail or hospitality experience.
• Willingness to learn optical basics; prior optical experience is a plus.
• Positive, energetic attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Flexible availability on weekdays and weekends, including peak periods.
