Casual Housekeeper Cleaner

About the role

Minor Hotels is expanding its housekeeping team at Oaks Glenelg Liberty Towers Suites and is looking for casual housekeeper cleaners. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas while working as part of a supportive, team‑oriented environment.

Key responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including bed making, vacuuming, and bathroom sanitation.
• Complete assigned cleaning tasks within allocated hours and meet daily targets.
• Use specialised cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, following all training and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contractors to ensure a positive work atmosphere.

Required profile

• Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning is highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail, good physical fitness and stamina for repetitive tasks.
• Professional communication skills and a proactive, positive attitude.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training provided).
