Casual Grade 2 Dietitian

About the role

A Grade 2 Dietitian is sought for the Nutrition & Dietetics team at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne on a casual basis. You will report to the Manager and provide clinical cover for inpatient units and outpatient clinics, with the option to take part in departmental clinical research. Weekly availability should be stated in the cover letter.

Key responsibilities

• Provide patient-centred, timely and effective clinical management across the continuum of care, including assessment, intervention, re-evaluation, documentation, team liaison and discharge planning.
• Maintain current knowledge and skills in the clinical best practice of the units assigned.
• Take part in the departmental clinical supervision program.

Required profile

• Qualifications giving eligibility for full membership of Dietitians Australia and the APD program.
• At least two years' post-graduate experience in clinical dietetics; tertiary hospital experience is highly regarded.
• Current national criminal history check, or willingness to obtain one.
• Willingness to complete mandatory vaccinations, including the flu shot.
