Casual Educator I - Busy Bees at Bellmere

About the role

Busy Bees, a global early learning provider with over 130 centres across Australia, is seeking a passionate and adaptable Casual Educator for its centre in Bellmere on a casual basis. The role plays a key part in creating a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where children feel supported and inspired to learn.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation of engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Help provide a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment for all children
• Build positive relationships with children, families and team members
• Support daily routines, activities and supervision of children
• Contribute to maintaining high standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS)

Required profile

• Genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up and alignment with Busy Bees values
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)
• Current Working with Children Check for Queensland; experience as an educator in Australia is highly regarded
• Flexibility to work across shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday

Required skills

• First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Employment is conditional on satisfactory pre-employment checks including WWCC-WWVP, ID, qualifications, Gecko Training, work rights, NQAITS register, prohibited persons and references, plus child safety training
