Casual Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO) Security Officer

About the role

MSS Security is recruiting professional, reliable and customer-focused Security Officers for a Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO) position in Greenbushes, Western Australia, protecting a client's regional operation. The role suits full-time and casual officers and offers stable work, attractive rosters and a supportive team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for the client, employees, contractors and visitors
• Conduct access control and visitor management
• Perform regular site patrols
• Monitor CCTV and security systems
• Respond to incidents and emergencies
• Complete accurate reports and documentation
• Conduct workplace drug and alcohol testing where required
• Deliver excellent customer service while keeping site security standards

Required profile

• WA Security Officer licence
• First Aid certificate (HLTAID011 or equivalent)
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport
• OFA (HLTSS00068) and workplace drug and alcohol testing (HLTPAT010)
• National police clearance
• Willingness to travel to and from the site at the start and end of each roster; accommodation may be provided during rostered shifts where applicable
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
• Highly regarded: previous mining, industrial or regional security experience, Cert II or Cert III in Security Operations, and experience in remote or regional environments
