Casual Domestic Assistant (NSW)

About the role

HenderCare is recruiting a casual Domestic Assistant to provide home-based domestic services in clients' homes across NSW. The role involves travelling to clients' homes to keep them clean, hygienic and homely according to each person's needs and wishes.

Key responsibilities

• Vacuuming, mopping and cleaning the bathroom and toilet
• Bed-making, dishwashing, laundry and ironing
• Hanging clothes out and assistance with meal preparation
• Unaccompanied shopping

Required profile

• At least 6 months of domestic cleaning experience
• Current National Police Check and Working with Children's Check (employee type)
• Right to work in Australia; successful candidates must pass pre-employment checks
• Understanding and willingness to support the elderly and people with a disability
• Ability to work casually between Monday and Friday, 9am-5pm

Required skills

• Reliable smartphone compatible with the AlayaCare app for roster access (iOS 15+ or Android 9+)
• Unrestricted Australian driver's licence, own vehicle and insurance
• Comfortable driving in and around Sydney Metro
