About the role
As a Casual Customer Service Agent at NEXTDC, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and customers at our Sydney data centre facilities. Working 15‑25 hours per week, you will help create a professional and welcoming environment while supporting day‑to‑day service requests.
Key responsibilities
- Greet all visitors promptly, courteously and professionally.
- Answer telephone calls from internal and external customers and provide accurate information.
- Coordinate deliveries, approve and securely store customer shipments.
- Assist with the planning and execution of on‑site events and activities.
- Conduct site inductions and manage induction paperwork.
- Perform audits of critical facility stock and replenish as needed.
- Provide first‑level resolution for service requests via phone, email or ticketing system, escalating when necessary.
Required profile
- Strong customer‑focus with a professional demeanor.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Well‑presented and able to manage time effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with telephone, email and ticketing systems.
- Ability to follow documented processes for deliveries and stock management.
