Casual Clinician - Youth Prevention and Recovery Care Centre

About the role

The Youth Prevention and Recovery Care (YPARC) is a sub-acute residential mental health service for young people aged 16 to 25 years, delivering short-term, recovery-focused treatment, care and support for those stepping down from inpatient care or stepping up from community services. It is delivered in partnership with a non-government organisation, with a strong focus on network-centred care and a therapeutic, home-like environment. The YPARC Clinician provides compassionate, evidence-informed care aligned with each young person's recovery goals, engaging family members, carers and other key supports early.

Roster and shift details

• Casual position, hours as required, no night shifts
• Weekdays: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm
• Weekends: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
• Rotating roster across all days of the week

Required profile

• Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 3 (Years 1-4), Social Worker Grade 3 (Years 1-4) or Occupational Therapist Grade 3 (Years 1-4)
• Qualifications must be attached to the application if they are a requirement
• Pre-employment screening may be required, including Working with Children Check, NDIS worker screening, police checks and valid working rights in Australia
